DBA - or "doing business as/ Non Profit

Registering a DBA - or "doing business as" - allows a company to do business under a different name. With a DBA, a company can open bank accounts, accept payments and advertise using the business name rather than the corporate name. Not only are DBAs a crucial step in building name recognition for your business, they can also provide major cost-savings for companies that plan to open more than one kind of business. Instead of creating a separate corporate entity for each business, companies can maintain their original structure and distinguish among their businesses with DBAs. Pursuing a DBA online provides even more savings by avoiding the time and money associated with hiring an attorney. ------------------------------------- Non-Profit Business Formation If you have a cause you would like to support, you may want to consider forming a non-profit corporation. Non-profit 501(c)(3) corporations are eligible for federal income tax exemptions, public and private grants, and individual donors to these non-profits can claim tax deductions for their contributions. In addition, non-profit corporations can offer employee benefits that are unavailable to unincorporated organizations. Non-profits are also great ways to ensure that your work on behalf of a cause or community will continue past the point that you are able to individually contribute, even beyond your lifetime. Establishing a non-profit is never easy, but by doing the work online you can save time and money by cutting out attorney's fees and doing away with lengthy lawyer consultations.
